Chicago’s Premier Wine and Craft & Imported Beer Tasting Event benefiting Catholic Charities Self-Sufficiency Programs

On Sunday, January 29th, 2017 from 2 to 6 p.m., Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago hosts the 16th Annual d’Vine Affair, a premier wine & craft beer tasting event held at the Union League Club of Chicago! Benefiting Catholic Charities self-sufficiency programs, guests can sample wine and beer from around the world. 
Lupe Ramirez, a fifth-grade teacher at Robert Frost Elementary School in Mount Prospect, wanted her class to learn a special lesson this winter.  She came up with a project that would mobilize the children into giving back to other children in need, and had the children run it from start to finish.
Monsignor Michael Boland and more than 25 volunteers will serve a full Christmas feast at the Annual Catholic Charities Christmas lunch on Sunday, Dec. 25.
