Provides human resource services that enable the Agency to recruit, hire, and retain qualified employees who can deliver professional services to our clients. The Department contributes to Catholic Charities being a humane, compassionate, and professional employer.

Employee Services - Provides personnel transactions processing; Credit Union membership administration; staff recruitment; governmental, affirmative action and EEOC compliance; wage assignments and employment verification; and personnel policy development and implementation.

Employee Benefits - Negotiates and/or administers health, dental, long term disability and life insurance and the pension plan. Provides information on tax shelter annuities (403b plan). Provides burial resources for the archdiocese.

Provides mandatory and elective education and training programs for direct service, support, and management personnel, including orientation for new employees and supervisors. Sponsors distribution of Continuing Education Credits through accrediting agencies. Prepares and distributes employee newsletter, The Voice of Charity. Administers tuition assistance program and monitors field-work students.
