Hotline Advice & Referral

Basic legal advice is provided over the telephone and in person on a variety of topics by staff and volunteer attorneys. CCLA works with clients toward the goal of addressing their legal issues by such means as answering simple questions, assisting in understanding or completing court forms, or having an extensive discussion about their legal needs. Many times providing basic advice can be a preventative measure for future serious legal problems.

Our intake hours are Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Messages are taken and calls are returned in the order in which they were received. CCLA’s services are available to those who are at 400% or below of the federal poverty guidelines and are available in Spanish.
