Catholic Charities will send a card or letter on your behalf to the honoree or to the deceased person's family. The notification does not include the amount of your gift. As a donor, you will receive a separate acknowledgement of your charitable donation for your own records.

Funeral Gifts

If you are planning for memorial gifts to Catholic Charities in lieu of flowers, it is suggested that the obituary notice includes this phrase:

"The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities, 721 North LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60654. Call (312) 948-6087. Please list the name of the deceased with your gift."
