Head Start Assistant Site DirectorUnder the Supervision of the Site Director, oversees the Head Start education component of the site. Supervise the Head Start teaching staff. Assist in the management of all programs and operations of the Center. Ensure adherence to Head Start Performance Standards, DCFS License Standards, CPS, CPA, QRS, NAEYC and all other applicable regulatory and funding bodies. Works collaboratively with the Head Start Education Coordinator.

Casemanger for Independent Living ProgramHas full casemanagement responsibility for DCFS wards ages 19 to 21 preparing to transition out of the foster care system. Provides intensive homebased case management services to address the youth's safety, wellbeing and permanency. Assists youth in obtaining their own apartment and provides services in the client's home with the goal of developing skills for independent living upon emancipation of wardship. If ward is parenting, repsonsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the ward's child. On call 24 hours and at times will be required to work beyond regular office hours.

Administrative Coordinator-Mentoring Plus JobsThe Administrative Coordinator oversees the planning and implementation of the Neighborhood Recovery Initative(CATS) in the target community. Community Action Teams(CATs) are street outreach teams made up of low income urban youth who promote postive social and health messages to their peers and broader community. They distribute informal materials and conducts brief dialogs in a variety of public settings. The CATs team members are recruited, trained, and employed to "blitz" pre-determined locations and events where large numbers of Chicagoans travel and gather.

Head Start Teacher Home VisitorUnder the Supervision of the Supervising Teacher Home Visitor, the Head Start Teacher Home Visitor, will schedule, plan, and provide home-based Head Start Services to children and families. and are charged with the task of helping parents to realize their responsibility as primary educators of their children. Works with parents to assist them to realize their responsibility as primary educators of their children. The Teacher Home Visitor will integrate all Head Start related services including education, social service, parent involvement, health, mental health and nutrition within the program to provide coordinated services to children and families. Plans and implements individualized weekly plan to 10 children ages 3 to 5. The individualized weekly plan is designed to promote physical, cognitive, language and social/emotional development.
