Meals on Wheels Dinner Dance

The Meals on Wheels Dinner Dance at Maravelas in Fox Lake is an annual fundraiser to benefit Catholic Charities Meals on Wheels Program throughout Lake County. Tickets are $35 each or Table of ten $350. Event includes dancing, silent auction and raffle. Legal Lifelines Cocktail Reception

Please join us at the beautiful Union League Club of Chicago, 65 West Jackson Boulevard, for the 5th Annual Legal Lifelines Cocktail Reception which is the sole fundraiser for Catholic Charities Legal Assistance program (CCLA). The program began as a volunteer initiative in 2005 to assist Catholic Charities' clients who may find themselves confronted with legal issues that threaten core elements of their existence, yet they cannot afford an attorney. Today the Center is staffed with attorneys and volunteers who face increased demands for their services.
We are pleased to announce that Bernard Judge will receive the Justice for the Poor Award at the event, in recognition of the compassion that he has shown to clients in need.

Bishop Lyne Celebration Dinner

Catholic Charities, Holy Family Villa and the Bishop Lyne Residence are co-hosting this event to honor Bishop Lyne’s love and dedication to the people of the Archdiocese of Chicago. At the dinner, Bishop Lyne will be awarded Holy Family Villa’s prestigious Caritas Sactae Familiae Award for his life’s work devoted to nourishing the spirits and souls of people in all walks of life throughout his exemplary ministry. Proceeds from the event will benefit Holy Family Villa’s expansion project.

Veterans in Need Dinner

Blossoms of Hope Brunch

The Blossoms of Hope Brunch is an annual event hosted at Drury Lane in Oakbrook to support the Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide(LOSS) Program. The LOSS program provides support services for individuals and families who have lost a loved one to suicide. This event features Drury Lane’s famous brunch, Silent Auction, Pick-A-Prize and Raffle, as well as the presentation of the Charles T. Rubey award. Tickets are $60 for adults and $15 for children. Eleventh Annual After Supper Visions Photography Exhibit

The 11th Annual Photography Exhibition and Art Sale is hosted at Catholic Charities St. Vincent Center benefiting Catholic Charities Tuesday Night Supper Program. The location was chosen because it is the same location where every Tuesday, Catholic Charities hosts a supper for 130 hungry and homeless men, women and children. "After Supper" is an exhibit of the photographs by our supper guests involved in the Tuesday Night Supper Program.
12th Annual William E. Joyce Golf Invitational

The day begins with a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. Singles are $375 per person and foursomes are $1,500. Many sponsorship opportunities are also available. Patrick J. Ryan Golf Outing

The Patrick J. Ryan Golf Outing was established by former Illinois Attorney General Jim Ryan and his wife Marie in memory of their son Patrick who died of suicide in 2007. Proceeds support a new program created for children and youth who have endured the loss of a loved one to suicide, established at Catholic Charities through the Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) Program and a generous grant we obtained from the Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation. Reservations start at $200.

Nite at the Net will take place at Hinsdale Racquet Club in Hinsdale, IL on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Blackhawks Coach Joel "Q" Quenneville will play and emcee! Tennis players of all levels are welcome to participate in tennis drills and enjoy food, cocktails, a live and silent auction, raffle and DJ entertainment. Every year in November and December Catholic Charities asks for your help with providing the spirit of the Holidays to over 8,000 children through the Toy Shower Program and over 500 families through Sponsor-a-Family. You can help by donating new toys to children in need, by purchasing basic items including clothing and household items for families in need or by volunteering your time.
