The Southwest Regional Advisory Board presents the 15th Annual Helping Hands Dinner & Auction. This year’s theme is “Jazz” and entertainment will be provided by noted jazz guitarist, Fr. John Moulder and Friends. The event is being held at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 82nd Avenue in Orland Park and benefits Catholic Charities Homeless Services, providing comprehensive services to the poor and disadvantaged in the Southwest suburbs. A Day at the Races at Arlington Park

On Saturday, June 22, 2013, the Catholic Charities North Regional Advisory Board will present "A Day at the Races at Arlington Park", benefiting Emergency Services. The event promises to be a great afternoon of food, refreshments and wire-to-wire excitement! The event will be held in the spectacular Governor's Room, which offers outstanding views of the homestretch and the finish line. In addition, guests will have easy access to a shaded patio area from which the sights and sounds of the track can be thoroughly enjoyed. The event begins at noon, and post time is at 1:00 pm. Reservations for the event are $125 per person, and tables with seating for eight are $1,000. Early reservations are suggested for what promises to be a very popular afternoon. Brighter Futures Golf Outing

The 13th Annual Brighter Futures Golf Outing will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 at the Riverside Golf Club. The event benefits Catholic Charities New Hope Housing Program in western Cook County. The day begins with registration and lunch at 11:00 am, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 pm sharp! After the round of golf, there will be a reception, dinner, a prize raffle and a cash raffle. Single Golfers are $250 and foursomes are $1,400. Non-golfers are invited to attend through a special 5:30 pm Cocktails & Dinner package for $75. Sponsorship Opportunities are available. South Regional Annual "Compassion in Action" Benefit Dinner-Dance

The Tenth Annual Compassion In Action Dinner, benefiting Emergency Assistance Programs, will be on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the historic Calumet Country Club, 2400 175th Street in Homewood. There will be a cash bar reception beginning at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. Highlights of the evening will include a silent auction, prize raffles, and award presentations.
