Eternal Word Television Network
Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) is the largest religious media network in the world and communicates the teachings of the Catholic Church in accordance with the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. The network was launched in 1981 by Mother Angelica, a Poor Clare nun, who founded Our Lady of Angels Monastery in Irondale, Alabama. The network transmits programming 24 hours a day to more than 110 countries with the TV and radio schedules and live video feed are available on the website. Additionally, the website includes Catholic Q&A, explanations of Church teachings, descriptions of devotions, a religious catalogue, a list of pilgrimages, and the readings for daily mass.
