Catholic Charities Celebrates Self-Sufficiency with New Hope Apartments GraduatesOn August 28th, Catholic Charities’ New Hope Apartments (NHA) program celebrated the success of over 60 “graduates” of this transitional housing program. The “Success Day” celebration was held at St. Ailbe Church at 9015 S. Harper, Chicago. Over two dozen of the graduates and their families attended, along with NHA staff from the North/Northwest, South, City, and West offices and many volunteers. Balloons and colorful table coverings set a festive tone. Each graduate received roses, and a framed certificate presented by her NHA caseworker. An exciting raffle and light luncheon followed the ceremony.

Catholic Charities Seeks Sponsors and Participants for New Golf Benefit in Northwest SuburbsCatholic Charities’ Golf Outing will take place Wednesday, September 22, at the Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. The course is known for its challenging and unique links-style golf. The $250 per person, or $1000 per foursome reservation includes: full lunch buffet from 11:15 to 12:15 pm, use of the driving range and three putting greens, Florida Scramble with a 12:30 shotgun start, beverage cart, six holes of contests, two hole-in-one car prizes, three hour open bar, buffet dinner, auction items and awards.

Catholic Charities and PepsiCo Deliver Free Healthy Meals to Hungry Kids Catholic Charities and PepsiCo's Food for Good Program are bringing free, healthy meals to kids throughout Chicago this summer. The effort was recently featured in a news segment on ABC 7 Chicago.
