Catholic Charities’ Casa Catalina Food Pantry Receives Funding From the Hunger Relief Grant ProgramChicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood, was chosen as a recipient of $2,500 in grant funding from Jewel-Osco’s Hunger Relief Grant Program. The funds will help keep the food pantry’s truck running, which is essential to stocking the shelves each week. Casa Catalina served 60,000 area residents last year, providing them with nutritious foods, clothing and other services to help them meet their basic human needs.
