A Message from Monsignor Michael M. BolandI am saddened to inform you that one of our staff, Daryl Lincoln, passed away on yesterday evening, after suffering injuries in a tragic hit and run car accident on January 9. Daryl worked for Catholic Charities for 12 years. He dedicated his life to helping others through their most difficult times, for example, by providing them with food when they were hungry, assistance when they and their families were facing eviction, or when they needed clothing and other basic necessities.

Catholic Charities Offers Support Group for Children and Youth Impacted by SuicideDo you know someone between the ages of 11 and 18 who has been emotionally impacted by the suicide of a family member or friend?
Catholic Charities’ Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) Program for Children and Youth will be running evening support groups for youth at its Near North Office, from February 28 through March 27. The groups allow youth to talk with others in a safe, facilitated setting about moving forward after a loved one commits suicide.

Blackhawks Coach “Q” to Attend Nite at the Net Fundraiser On Saturday, February 4, the Nite at the Net Tennis Classic will take place at the Hinsdale Racquet Club, located at 5730 S. Grant Street, Hinsdale. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Blackhawks Coach Joel Quenneville a.k.a Coach “Q,” will be in attendance, along with former Blackhawk Marty Lapointe, and tennis table champion Biba Golić. -
