I am saddened to inform you that one of our staff, Daryl Lincoln, passed away on yesterday evening, after suffering injuries in a tragic hit and run car accident on January 9. Daryl worked for Catholic Charities for 12 years. He dedicated his life to helping others through their most difficult times, for example, by providing them with food when they were hungry, assistance when they and their families were facing eviction, or when they needed clothing and other basic necessities.

Catholic Charities’ Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) Program for Children and Youth will be running evening support groups for youth at its Near North Office, from February 28 through March 27. The groups allow youth to talk with others in a safe, facilitated setting about moving forward after a loved one commits suicide.
