18 Local Charities Including the Archdiocese of Chicago to Benefit From Chicago Auto Show's First Look for Charity

WHO:
The Chicago Auto Show, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago and 17 other charity organizations

WHAT:
First Look for Charity black-tie fundraiser. Catholic Charities is one of 18 charities to benefit from the annual fund-raising event which gives attendees an exclusive preview of the Chicago Auto Show.

WHERE:
McCormick Place

WHEN:
Thursday, February 7, 2008, 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

HOW:
Tickets cost $225 of which $183 is tax deductible. Each ticket is a chance to win one of three new cars.

WHY:
To provide financial support to Chicago-area charities.

First Look guests will receive:

  • An all-access pass to the premier exhibition of vehicles on the auto show floor.
  • The exclusive opportunity to view the Chicago Auto Show’s complete range of vehicles before the show opens to the public the following day. Over 1,000 cars and trucks, sport utility vehicles and concept models, both domestic and imported, will be on display.
  • All attendees will be entered in a drawing to win one of three prize vehicles – a 2009 Toyota Corolla, 2008 Scion xD or 2008 Hyundia Veracruz. Winners must be present to win.

Corporate packages are available, which provide benefactors with tickets to the First Look event and the Chicago Auto Show (February 8-17, 2008). Corporate benefactors will also receive recognition in the event program and on signage posted throughout McCormick Place.
