On Thursday, March 8th, Catholic Charities West Regional Advisory Board hosted its 9th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party Fundraiser at FitzGerald’s, 6615 Roosevelt Road in Berwyn. The event, which benefits Catholic Charities’ New Hope Housing Program in West Cook County, was attended by over 370 people and raised over $29,000.
“Many, many thanks to all our guests, donors and volunteers who made our St. Patrick's Day Party such a success; we couldn’t have done it without you,” said Esmeralda Zepeda, West Regional Director.
New Hope supports formerly homeless families as they move toward self-sufficiency by subsidizing their rent and providing case management, budgeting assistance and other services for up to two years while the head of household works and/or attends school.
