South-Southwest Region


 About this Region
We are excited to announce that our South and Southwest offices merged into a central location that is more easily accessible to the more than 25,000 south-southwest community residents served each year. All our programs are designed to work with the strengths of our clients to aid them in their journey toward self-sufficiency. Renew Your DACA/Renueve Su DACA

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Immigration/Naturalization Program is offering two free DACA clinics, by appointment ONLY, on Tuesday September 19th and Tuesday September 26th. During these free legal clinics, we will complete applications for DACA holders who qualify for renewal. If you are interested, please call as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. These clinics are ONLY for current DACA beneficiaries whose DACA expires between September 5, 2017 and March 5, 2018.

If you have never applied for DACA, or your DACA has already expired or expires AFTER March 5, 2018, we recommend that you call to schedule a legal consultation to determine if you qualify for any other immigration benefits. 

You MUST bring:

Two passport sized photos
Any criminal records (police report, charging document, disposition, etc.)
If you have traveled abroad, bring your passport and Advance Parole approved
Money order for $495 made out to “US Department of Homeland Security”
DACA Work Authorization
Copies of all prior DACA applications and renewals

El Programa de Immigration y Naturalización de Caridades Católicas Caridades Católicas de la Arquidiócesis de Chicago ofrecerá dos talleres gratuitos, SOLO con cita, los días Martes 19 y Martes 26 de Septiembre para los solicitantes que califiquen para la renovación de DACA. Durante estos talleres, completaremos la solicitud de renovación. Los solicitantes deberán llamar lo antes posible para solicitar una cita. Estos talleres son SOLAMENTE para los beneficiarios cuyo  DACA expira entre el 5 de septiembre de 2017 y el 5 de marzo de 2018.

Si usted nunca solicitó DACA o si su DACA ya ha expirado o expirará DESPUÉS del 5 de marzo de 2018, le recomendamos que haga cita para una consulta legal,  para determinar si usted califica para cualquier otro beneficio de inmigración. 

Usted DEBE traer:

Dos fotos tamaño pasaporte
Record policial (documento con los cargos que le pusieron, disposiciones de la corte, etc.)
Si salió del país con permiso (Advance Parole), traiga su pasaporte y copia del permiso aprobado
Un “Money Order” de $495 para “US Department of Homeland Security”
DACA-Permiso de Trabajo
Copias de las aplicaciones y renovaciones anteriores de DACA
