South-Southwest Region


 About this Region
We are excited to announce that our South and Southwest offices merged into a central location that is more easily accessible to the more than 25,000 south-southwest community residents served each year. All our programs are designed to work with the strengths of our clients to aid them in their journey toward self-sufficiency. If you need assistance, would like to get involved, or have any questions, please contact our new offices. If you are located in the south region, please call (708) 333-8379.  Areas Served
The South Region includes: Burnham, Dixmoor, East Hazel Crest, Ford Heights, Lynwood, Markham, Phoenix, Sauk Village, South Chicago Heights, Calumet Park, Riverdale, Blue Island, Posen, Robbins, Dolton, Calumet City, South Holland, Lansing, Thornton, Glenwood, Chicago Heights, Park Forest, Richton Park, Matteson, Olympia Fields, Flossmoor, Homewood, Hazel Crest, Country Club Hills, and Harvey.

The Southwest Region includes: Lemont, Willow Springs, Justice, Summit, Argo, Bridgeview, Bedford Park, Burbank, Hometown, Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Worth, Alsip, Midlothian/Crestwood, Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Orland Hills, Orland Park, Palos Park, Palos Heights, and Palos Hills.

Applications due June 15 for 31st Annual Community Paint-A-Thon

If the exterior of your home needs painting, consider applying for the 31st Annual Community Paint-A-Thon program.  Applicants must be over the age of sixty, or an adult ages 18 – 59 with a permanent disability, or a veteran of any age and reside in one of the following townships: Barrington, Elk Grove, Hanover, Maine, New Trier, Niles, Northfield, Palatine, Schaumburg, and Wheeling. 

There are income and other criteria, but all are encouraged to apply.  There is no cost to the homeowner, you choose the color from the options available, and volunteer groups complete all work.

Applications are due June 15 and are needed as soon as possible. Contact Catholic Charities Intake Department for an application at 847/253-5500.  | Return
