Matt McCabe
Executive Director, Strategic Initiatives
Matthew McCabe currently serves as Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives, leading strategic planning and special projects. Matt previously served as Chief of Public Affairs and Chief of Staff for Noble Schools, the largest and highest performing system of nonprofit public charter schools in the state of Illinois. In 2010, President Barack Obama nominated Matt as a director for the AmeriCorps board of directors, which required U.S. Senate-confirmation. He was later appointed by Gov. Pat Quinn to the Serve Illinois Commission. Matt holds a BA in political science and English from the University of Pittsburgh and MAT from Dominican University. He is currently pursuing his MBA as a Neubauer Civic Scholar at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
