Community Casework and Counseling and Domestic Violence

 Provides counseling and case management services to families and individuals who are experiencing a wide range of social and personal problems affecting their ability to cope, including homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse and addiction, sexual abuse, a trauma such as suicide, family issues related to aging parents, homicide, disability, illness such as HIV/ AIDS incest, and parent-child issues.

Catholic Charities Legal Assistance (CCLA)

Attorneys offer clients basic legal advice and referral services via a telephone hotline, monthly advice desks at Catholic Charities Evening Supper Program, and in person. Clients in need of legal representation may be placed with a volunteer attorney from CCLA’s Pro Bono Network or directed to a legal aid organization. Legal educational seminars are also offered. Services are free and available in Spanish.

Ofrece   asesoramiento   profesional   y   servicios   de administración  de  casos  a  familias  e  individuos  que están experimentando una gran variedad de problemas sociales y personales, que afectan su habilidad de hacerles frente, incluyendo la falta de vivienda, violencia familiar, abuso de sustancias y addición, abuso sexual, un trauma como el suicidio, cuestiones familiares relacionadas con los padres envejeciendo, homicidio, discapacidad, enfermedades como el VIH/ SIDA, incesto y problemas entre padres e hijos.

Abogados ofrecen a clientes asesoría legal básica y servicios de referencia a través de una línea de ayuda, escritorios de asesoría legal mensuales en los programas de Cenas por Las Tardes de Caridades Católicas, y en persona. Clientes  que  necesitan  representación legal pueden ser puestos en contacto con un abogado voluntario de la Red Pro Bono de CCLA.
