Responsibilities of Interns: This position will provide direct, hands on experience in the wide variety of functions of Government Relations, including government grant writing, advocacy writing, legislator interaction, tracking and other tasks as a vital part of the Government Relations team.

Special skills required/desired: College student pursuing bachelor’s degree in political science, social justice, social policy and advocacy or liberal arts.  Grant writing experience advocacy writing experience, experience in a government/political environment.  Strong commitment to social justice/advocacy. 

Interns(s) in this position will learn about: government grants from a very successful team of writers; advocacy for clients on a policy level within units of government.  

Special Requirements:  Writing sample required for submission

Hours available to work: Summer 2016, Fall 2016, Spring 2017.  Monday – Friday 8:30 -4:30
