Celebration of Giving Program in Lake County Looking for Santa's Helpers
Monday, November 05, 2018 by Communications

With the generous support of local families, parishes, schools, and businesses, Catholic Charities Celebration of Giving gift-giving program brings joy and hope to more than 14,000 children and their families who might otherwise not be able to celebrate the holiday season.

Donations of new clothing, warm coats, hats, gloves, and toys are now being accepted through December 11. In addition, sponsors can shop online with direct shipment to Catholic Charities Santa’s Workshop from Amazon and other local retailers. To link directly to the Catholic Charities Wish list, visit www.catholiccharities.net/celebration.

“This is a beloved tradition in the Lake County area,” said Jim Wogan, Catholic Charities Lake County Christmas Gift Program Coordinator. “Thousands of families in need count on volunteers and sponsors to provide gifts and necessities to help make the season brighter for them.”

To donate gifts for Lake County families and children, those interested can fill out our Donor Information Response Form at www.catholiccharities.net/celebration under the Lake County tab.
