Post-Adoption

Adoption is part of the rich history of Catholic Charities. Our work today offers individuals support, registry, and search and reunion services.

Services are available for those who adopted, were adopted, or placed a child for adoption through Catholic Charities, as well as those who were placed for foster care, or spent time at St. Vincent’s. Services are also available for the descendants of deceased birth parents and adopted individuals. 

We provide a variety of different services including non-identifying birth family background information letters, and search and reunion services. We also provide short-term adoption focused counseling upon request.

Group meetings are offered every other month for members of the adoption circle, giving individuals an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from the experiences of others.
