God deeply desires a relationship with us. This means that prayer and trust in God’s guidance of our work are fundamental to all that we do.
Catholic Charities works hard to hear the needs of those we serve, and we want to do the same with your spiritual needs. As a faith-based, human service provider founded in the life and teachings of Jesus and Catholic tradition, we depend on the Holy Spirit to inspire and sustain us as we serve everyone as they are, no matter their faith, gender, race, or ethnicity. In prayer, we hold the needs, hopes and dreams of those we serve and our partners.
We welcome the opportunity to pray for you in our community. Prayer requests will be written into our Book of Prayers in the St. Louise De Marillac Chapel at the main offices at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. At your request, a specific prayer and or Mass intention will be honored at our weekly Mass on Wednesdays at 12 p.m.
