Student Internship Opportunities

Catholic Charities of Chicago has been providing internships to social workers and other licensed counselors for decades. We provide a learning environment where individuals can observe real-world examples of concepts previously studied only in the classroom in order to increase their knowledge and competence within a social service environment.

Our Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) provide field instruction for student interns in the areas of: Counseling, Drug/Alcohol Addiction Prevention, Senior Services, Maternity and Adoption services, Shelter Care and other programs.

Academic internships/externships may also be available in the areas of Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Accounting/Finance, and other college majors.
