Transitional Housing

We provide intensive support to survivors of domestic violence through two supportive, secure transitional housing residences for women and children.

Survivors have opportunities to regain their dignity and independence, and move toward a safer, happier future.

The House of the Good Shepherd (Chicago) is a supportive housing campus with comprehensive counseling, adult learning opportunities, child enrichment programs, and aftercare.

The House of Peace (Lake County) provides a secure, temporary residence for Latina women and children.

Services are offered in English and in Spanish. Our team also offers community education and seminars on healthy relationships and training for parishes, hospitals, and schools.
